How do I play Globle?

Type a country name in the search box and pick it from the suggestions to make a guess. After each guess you'll see the distance in km and the direction (e.g. NE, SW) to the target country. Guessed countries are shaded on the globe by distance—warmer colors mean closer. Keep guessing until you find the daily country.

How is distance and direction calculated?

Distance is the great-circle distance in km between the approximate centers of the guessed country and the target. Direction is the compass bearing from your guess to the target (e.g. N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW).
